Rebranding, bespoke builds and systems integration
Rebranding of twelve B2B, international finance and
payment gateway websites
We were briefed by Santander to rebrand twelve commercial
banking websites including B2B services, international payments and
their payment gateway offering, Billpayment.
Billpayment is an excellent example of a flexible and secure
online payment facility designed, built and maintained for the
Santander Group of companies by Headland, and adopted by 500+ local
authorities and other public sector organisations. The site design,
back-end systems and automated email communications were all
designed and developed by Headland.
This service has since been adopted by Cardiff City Council,
Sheffield City Council and Glasgow City Council. Security is a
major concern for any website, particularly where user management,
membership and e-commerce is concerned and script hacking or "SQL
Injection" continues to become a problem. The Billpayment system
handles up to £300m of transactions in one week in a secure
environment.
Our working relationship with Santander continues. It is a
relationship that started when we received our first brief from
Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank almost a decade ago.
